Our History
FourSet Quartet was born from a single small moment in the autumn of 2024. Seeking a way to volunteer through community service, Emi reached out to fellow musicians from the Lake Braddock Secondary School Chamber Orchestra to perform at a local retirement community during the holiday season. Bri, Jonathan, and Jaxon eagerly joined the initiative. Since that initial rehearsal, our collective synergy has motivated us to maintain a standard of excellence and community service.
Following our debut concert, we have successfully completed over thirty performances within eighteen months. These experiences have allowed us to grow as a quartet and fostered a deep appreciation for the intimate settings unique to chamber music. Although we are a student-led ensemble, we approach every project with the utmost diligence and professionalism. Our quartet remains committed to providing every client with a polished, reliable, and exceptional performance.
Our repertoire is versatile, encompassing timeless classical masterpieces, festive holiday arrangements, and contemporary popular selections. Whether performing as a full quartet or a smaller duo for intimate settings, we approach every composition with profound dedication. Beyond our musical pursuits, our members excel in rigorous academic programs, competitive athletics, and community leadership roles, ensuring a highly disciplined and organized approach to every event.
